Character Ed Assembly & Bullying Awareness Week Ed Assembly & Bullying Awareness Week<p>​Our Character Ed. Assembly is THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 24 at 9:05 am.  This is a change from the date noted in the November Newsletter.  This week, along with schools across Simcoe County, Assikinack is bringing awareness to the topic of bullying.  Displays in our school, messages over the announcements and guest visitors to classrooms will help our students to understand what bullying is and how to stop it at Our Positive School.<br></p>
Hewitt's Farm Market Fundraiser's Farm Market Fundraiser<p>​School Council is excited to introduce the Hewitt's Farm Market fundraising program to our school community this fall.  An order form for Hewitt's Farm Market went home from our school last Wednesday, November 9.  On this order form are homemade ENTREES, DESSERTS, MEAT PIES, all natural/anti-biotic free meat items and much more!  Hewitt's products are selected and prepared using the high quality standards that has made Hewitt's Fram produce a mainstay in Simcoe County.  If you are planning to order from the wide selection available, the order is due to the school on Thursday, November 17th, cheques payable to Assikinack PS.  As always, thank you for your support of our Assikinack School Council.<br></p>
Assikinack SPIRIT WEAR! SPIRIT WEAR!<p>​If you ordered Assikinack Spirit Wear this fall, School Council has arranged for it to be delivered to our school on November 22nd.  Can't wait to see everyone decked out in their Assikinack wear!<br></p>
November Newsletter ~ Novembrance Day Newsletter ~ Novembrance Day<p>​The November Newsletter has been uploaded to our School Web Page for your convenience.  Check it out under Parents - Newsletters.</p><p>The Annual Remembrance Day Assembly will be held on November 11 at 11:30 AM in the school gym.  School community members are most welcome to attend.  Brownies, Guides, Scouts & Cadets are welcome to wear their uniforms on November 11 if they wish.<br></p>
