FUNDRAISING

 Assikinack Public School participates in a number of fundraisers throughout the school year. Some fundraisers raise money or resources for external charities, and others directly support our students and school. We set fundraising goals on an annual basis. These goals are developed with our school council.

We understand that it may not be possible for all families to participate in every fundraiser. Participation is completely optional. Please be assured that we will never exclude students from any activity as a result of the personal decision to be part of a fundraiser or not.

DONATIONS TO THE SCHOOL

The Simcoe County District School Board is a registered charity. An excellent way to support your school is through a charitable donation. Simply log into your SCO account and click “Make a Donation” at the top, right of the screen. Enter your payment information and complete your order. An official tax receipt will be issued for income tax purposes.

KIDNEY CLOTHES (On-going)

Kidney Clothes accepts used clothing and so much more! Put your items in a clear bag and label it "Assikinack PS - Please add the weight to our fundraiser" and drop it off at Kidney Clothes, located at 570 Bryne Dr, Unit J. Click the link to see a full list of accepted items:

POPCORN (Every Friday)

Popcorn is sold every Friday* during the afternoon Nutrition/Recess Break (12:55pm to 1:15pm). Popcorn costs $2.00/bag and comes in three flavours: Dill Pickle, White Cheddar, and Butter & Salt.

*Popcorn will be sold on Thursdays when there is a Friday PA Day.
